Kite schools in Cumbuco, from two kinds of source. Five were found and read on their own sites; two more are listed in IKO's directory of affiliated centres, read on 21 September 2026, and are on this page because of that listing. One of the two, Kitesurf Adventure, dropped out of that directory between 20 and 21 August 2026 and is listed in it again on 21 September 2026; neither change says anything about the school, so nothing was written here about why. The listing settles one fact, that IKO lists the school, and nothing about teaching, languages, insurance or safety cover. Absence from this page therefore says the list is incomplete, not that a school is missing from any register. Three of the five found schools state IKO on their own sites and are quoted saying it, two of those naming ABK beside it and one AAK, and all three of those claims stand exactly as they did: IKO lists 306 affiliated centres in 64 countries and its own site says it affiliates more than its directory carries, so a school absent from the directory may be affiliated and unlisted. None of the five publishes the languages it teaches in.

An equipment brand is not a training body. Several schools show Duotone, Cabrinha, Naish or North prominently. Those are gear sponsorships and certify nothing, so they are not recorded as affiliations, and a school that names only a brand shows a blank here.

A register entry can be opened; a claim cannot. Every affiliation taken from a register links to that body's own page for that business, so the listing can be read at the source instead of taken from here. Where a school's own words are shown instead, they are a claim with nothing behind them but the school, and they are labelled that way.

Why these registers and not others. A register earns its place here by being enumerable and citable: it has to list who is in it, and each entry has to have a page that names the business, so a reader can check the claim instead of taking it from us. Most do neither. Green Fins is the case that shows the difference, because its members are the best evidence in this directory and its member pages render the same bytes for a real centre and an invented one, so a Green Fins fact is stored with a centre id and never cited as a link.
