The confirmed-listing badge
A dive centre or watersports school that confirms its own entry in our directory, including the languages its instructors teach in, is marked Confirmed with the date and listed above the unconfirmed entries on its page. If that is you, you can show it on your own site. The badge links to your entry.
What it looks like
Dark, for dark backgrounds
Light, for light backgroundsWhat it says, and what it does not
It says that the business named on it answered us about its own entry on the date shown, and that we could see the answer came from the business. It does not say we dived or trained with them, inspected anything or recommend them. Our directory is not an assessment, and the badge is no more than the entry it links to.
Each business gets its own pair of files, carrying its name and its date, so a copy pasted onto another site names the wrong business. A confirmation holds for twelve months. If it is not renewed, the same files change to Listing not confirmed, and every site that embedded them shows that without anyone having to ask.
Nobody can pay for the badge or for the confirmation. They come from answering about your own entry and from nothing else. A business that buys a business page is listed above the confirmed entries, marked Sponsored, but that buys a place in the list and not the badge.
How to get one
Find your business in the directory, open its row and use Is this you?. Or send us your details if you are not listed yet. Once your confirmation is recorded, your code appears below.
Codes for confirmed businesses
No business has confirmed its entry yet, so there is no code to copy here. The first one will appear on this page at the next rebuild after it confirms.
