What Is an eFoil? Electric Hydrofoil Explained

An eFoil is an electric hydrofoil surfboard: a foil board with a motor and propeller built into the foil, powered by a battery in the board and controlled by a wireless handheld throttle. Add power, the foil lifts you, and you fly silently above the water with no waves or wind needed. It is the most controllable way to learn the foil, and the most expensive, and it combines a sharp foil with a powered prop, so safety matters.
